With the aim of promoting widely understood mountain culture, the film competition and public screening are organized in six thematic categories, and the best film in each category is awarded: mountaineering, adventure, culture, nature, and social and human rights issues.
The screenings are complemented with photography exhibits, slide shows, workshops, climbing competitions and mountain tours.
