12th MCMP

The Palma Mountain Film Festival is an exhibition of documentary films about mountains and nature, which has been taking place in the city of Palma (Mallorca) since 2010. Throughout the ten editions held, 103 films from 19 different countries have been shown, reaching more than 17,000 viewers. The programming of the MCMP is based on the following axes:

• International mountain documentary film productions
• Film productions about mountains and nature produced in the Balear Islands
• Filmic and photographic documents with historical and documentary interest
• Productions on nature conservation, solidarity, equality and local communities
• Official Selection of the Certamen de Curtmetratges Documentals de Muntanya i Natura de Palma (Mallorca).

The cinema program is complemented by presentations of mountain books, audiovisuals, photography exhibitions, and concerts. It also has the participation of filmmakers, producers of mountain and nature films, mountaineers, climbers and numerous fans of mountains, cinema, and photography.
