An expert mountaineer meets an attractive young Vietnamese woman who is abused by a despotic former mercenary. Determined to free her, he plans a perfect crime to get rid of that type, preparing an alibi based on the realization in an impossible time of a journey to a mountain shelter. Once his objective is covered, a judge initiates the investigation, suspecting that the mountaineer has something to hide.
