Professional climber and one of National Geographic’s Adventurers of the Year, Will Gadd, takes ice climbing to new heights as the first person ever to ascend the frozen sections of the world’s largest flowing waterfall, Niagara Falls in 2015. 'I checked out the spot we were thinking of climbing in the summer,' Gadd said. 'You'd be swept away by the torrential downpour then.' But this year's cold winter slowed water flow, allowing climbable ice to form. 'On a warm winter, there's no climb here.' A film by Bryan Smith and Dave Pearson from Reel Water Productions.
