A few years ago, for five days, the entire population of the Val Bregaglia was in suspense. The alarm arrived on the evening of a Tuesday at the end of September. A woman from Germany launched the alarm, denouncing her husband's failure to return. The man, who had arrived in Bergell for a trip to the high mountains, had not told anyone which summit he intended to climb. The search, carried out from the sky by a Rega helicopter and on the ground by Mountain Rescue guides, was unsuccessful. The man seemed to have disappeared into thin air. But on Thursday, and again the next day, when it was now thought to abandon the search, strange indications had arrived to the rescuers. Indications that came from a Spanish seer, in the meantime contacted by the wife of the missing person.
