For the 25th anniversary of the first outside broadcast of the French television, the team of 'En Direct' is installed at the top of the Aiguille du Midi, in the Mont Blanc Massif. They follow the climbing of a rock wall, not on the Aiguille du Diable as they planned initially because it is too snowy, but in a close very steep wall a bit less snowy. The climbers are interviewed live and followed on camera by two specialists: Pierre Tairraz, and René Vernadet. The comments are made by Jean-Pierre Chaptel and the mountain guide Gaston Rebuffat.
