On November 9, 1986, Jerzy Kukuczka, Artur Hajzer, and Carlos Carsolio made the first ascent of the east summit of Manaslu (7894 m). The day after, Kukuczka and Hajzer reached the main summit via a new route, ascending the east ridge and descending the north-east face. The documentary shows footage taken by the members of the expedition, documenting the approach and some moments of the ascent of the mountain. This was the 12th eight-thousander of Jerzy Kukuczka.
