Mort d'un guide

Inspired by the drama of René Desmaison and Serge Gousseault in the Grandes Jorasses in the winter of 1971, the film narrates the suspense-filled drama of two mountain guides who attempt to regain their reputations by climbing a new route on the West Face of the Dru near Chamonix, France. After six days, they are missing in action. A journalist investigates what has happened.
