Opera vertical

In the wake of 'La vie au bout des doigts', shot in La Piade and Buoux, 'Opera vertical', the following movement of Jean-Paul Janssen, takes us to Verdon, Patrick Edlinger's favorite land. The film opens with a training session and then shows the enchainment of 'l’Ange en Décomposition' (7a), in which Edlinger falls voluntarily to show the usefulness of the rope. Later, a final and anthological scene shows a close-up of Edlinger, who climbs solo and barefoot a difficult route in the Verdon over hundreds of meters void, accompanied by lyrical music of Johann Sebastian Bach.
