This is the 'filmed chronicle' of the singular feat carried out a few years ago by twelve guides from Val Tournanche, who, during the uninterrupted course of twenty-two days, made a crossing from crest to crest in the Alps, that is, in the Monte Rosa and Cervino Groups. The aim of the enterprise was to solve the mountaineering and logistical problems foreseen for future expeditions on the rugged snowy mountains of Patagonia and the Himalayas.
