Sixteen teams from Nice and fifteen from Trieste leave for Hospental on St. Bernard, with their skis and rucksacks. An exceptional, gigantic ski-mountaineering relay race, which will pass 55 peaks of over 3000 metres and 8 peaks of over 4000 metres, to end, after 64 unforgettable days of hard work and joy, freedom and friendship, in Hospental (Switzerland). An event organized by the Alpine Clubs of the six participating nations: Austria, France, Italy, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Germany: A total of 384 skiers-mountaineers who live, between snow and sky, sun and storms, a human experience, as well as technical and sporting, extraordinary.
