He is joined by a woman friend, who helps him survive a terrible storm over the mountain. Filmed on location in Arosa, Switzerland, Babelsberg Observatory in Potsdam, Germany, and Mont-Blanc in Chamonix, France, the film is notable for its mountain footage.
