The film tells the story of the attempt of Daniele Bernasconi, Mario Panzeri and Giampaolo Corona on the north-west pillar of the Talung, the colossus of over 7000 meters located in front of the Kangchenjunga. The three climbers tried the first ascent of the wall, but had to give up around 6400 meters because of the poor condition of the mountain.
