TV movie about the first successful climb of Mont Blanc by Dr. Michel-Gabriel Paccard and Jacques Balmat in 1786. A BBC co-production that was part of a series of three teleplays called Mountain Men, which concerned climbers who were the first to scale three iconic mountains. The other two are: Nanga Parbat by Hermann Buhl (The climb, Donald Shebib), Matterhorn by Lucy Walker (A dangerous kind of love, Colin Godman).
