Aaron Black

The Wadi Rum Expedition is a documentary about rock climbing that takes place in Wadi Rum. It was directed by Jean Gamilovskij in 2007 and produced by FA Climbing Films. It features Heidi Wirtz, Chris Kalous, Ben Firth and Aaron Black.

"No Permanent Address" documents the first ascent of a 23-pitch climb up one of Canada’s most imposing faces. Sean Easton and Aaron Black team up for the first ascent of "Call of the Granite" (5.12 A1, 2700 ft.), located in the Eldred Valley of British Columbia. The film follows Aaron for the six months prior as he climbs with friends in some of the most famous areas in North America. Watch climbers push themselves to their limits on everything from boulders to crack climbs, developing and honing climbing skills that are necessary for the completion of this new big-wall route.

An exploration of the diversity of the climbing lifestyle - from rock, ice, aid and alpine climbing to big-wall expeditions, bouldering and free-soloing. Narration by Greg Child, with interviews of profiled athletes - many from the Bow Valley.
