    Tierra

    Antonio Perezgrueso (2017)

Retrospective of the programme of the Spanish TV 'Al filo de lo imposible'. Everest, South Pole and North Pole - a trio known as the Three Poles of the Earth - was the first major challenge of 'On the Edge of the Impossible'. As lovers of the great spaces of the Earth, the team was attracted by the possibility of reaching higher or following a longer itinerary through the frozen deserts. The program sought to go one step further and experience this journey to the opposite poles. They knew that Everest, as well as the Arctic and Antarctica, were barely pointing to a process of transformation that, for various reasons, has now become a serious danger of destruction.

    Rosas negras

    Antonio Perezgrueso (2017)

What makes Greenland an exceptional place for adventure is that it also has numerous mountains accessible from its fjords with walls whose verticality frightens. Of all the climbing options offered by the Tasermiut Fjord, we opted for Nalumasortoq, the 'Great White Wall'. With an altitude of 2,000 metres and three spectacular pillars, its 600-metre vertical granite wall attracts powerful attention. Opening a new way in this beautiful wall became our goal.

    Una joya en el Mediterraneo

    Antonio Perezgrueso (2016)

Psicobloc is the name invented by the Mallorcan Miquel Riera, who has been practicing it in Mallorca since 1978. The British call it Deep Water Soloing. It is climbed without rope, as in short block climbing routes, but unlike this one, the lengths would force you to use it if there was no water underneath. Even so, the possibility of falling from 15, 20 or even more meters places us in a wild scenario with a risk of injury so real that it involves a hard psychological cost. Malta is the place chosen by the 'On the Edge of the Impossible' team to put the activity into practice and enjoy this first adventure.

    Una noche con Calipso

    Antonio Perezgrueso (2015)

South of Briançon in the French Alps, during the winter months there are numerous waterfalls of ice, among the more than 20 areas of this icy labyrinth, this episode of 'Al filo de lo impossible' will focus on three of them. Due to their characteristics, they will still maintain the conditions required to climb them. True challenges in the era of its pioneers, today are considered routes of medium-high degree so apparently acceptable for some, and impossible for others.
