Will Stanhope - As a guide

    Cameron Maier (2016)

Will Stanhope, a CMGA Guide, talks us through his philosophy on life 'as a guide' and showcases some of Tasmania’s best climbing. Last winter together with Sonnie Trotter and Cameron Maier, Will ventured down under to the fabled island. As he says... really an awesome place if you ever get a chance to visit; think high mountain crags, wave blasted sea cliffs, and some of the spindliest sea stacks on planet earth. Viewers beware: along with the climbing footage, there's a fair bit of head-scratching inside jokes in this video.

    Exploring Thailand - Alex Johnson - 2016

    Cameron Maier (2016)

Thailand has been a climber’s destination for a long time now. But what makes it so special and what is the country really like? Who are the local climbers and what keeps them motivated? Ton Sai, in the south, is much different from Chiang Mai, in the north. And most people have never heard of Khon Kaen, a tropical bouldering sanctuary tucked far away from the Western tourist influence. Alex Johnson and friends explore via their own two feet, tuk-tuk, moped, 4×4 and airplane to find out and report back, with the friendly help of the Thai people.

    Craig's reaction Vod

    Craig's reaction

    Cameron Maier (2018)

In 2002, Craig DeMartino was climbing with a friend in Rocky Mountain National Park when a terrible miscommunication occurred; DeMartino fell nearly 100 feet onto the rocks below. He survived, but his injuries were devastating — ruptured lung, fractured spine, pulverized feet, among others — and the accident forever altered his life. He could have retreated into his injuries and given up on climbing. Instead, DeMartino, who had one leg amputated under the knee, got back into his harness. Today, he has climbed grades as hard as 5.13, led an all-disabled ascent of El Capitan and introduced scores of fellow disabled athletes to the joy of climbing.

    Fanny Martino (2015)

Nalle Hukkataival and Jimmy Webb recently traveled to Swaziland in search of new boulders and found an unforgettable country with amazing people and fascinating culture. But finding boulder problems isn’t as easy as it sounds, you might end up walking through fields and forest for hours and find nothing. Or you might find a gem, something that could possibly be the next hard line, maybe even the African Star… South Africa is renowned the world over for its incredible sandstone bouldering and while the country's popularity amongst climbers has increased rapidly over the last decade, its neighbour Swaziland has remained untouched by the bouldering boom.
