Christoph Hainz

Donnafugata is a notable route opened by Christoph Hainz in 2004, on the south wall of Torre Trieste on the Civetta — 750 meters, with difficulty levels up to 8a. Sara Avoscan and Omar Genuin, partners in climbing and in life, try to repeat the route in free style. Both of them have already achieved heroic performances in the Dolomites. This is a tribute to the beauty of the mountains and the sheer joy of climbing.

The documentary accompanies top alpinists in three extreme sports, on three walls and all in one day. The South Tyrolean mountain guide and professional mountaineer Christoph Hainz, the Kitzbühel extreme skier Axel Naglich as well as the Grödner speedriding pilots Armin and Guido Senoner climb through blue shimmering ice walls, fly with paragliders through the funnel down the wall for the first time and it goes with skis through the dizzying Minnigerode channel - a 50 degree steep descent with almost 1,400 meters difference in altitude.

A wall that could not even be more exciting, more beautiful and more dangerous: the Red Wall of the Roda di Vael. The film tells, with the commentary of Reinhold Messner, the most exciting stories about it, reviewing the most incredible sports performances. The original footage from the 1960s is accompanied by reproduced scenes and close-ups of climbing. Climbers such as Christoph Heinz, Erich Abram, Hanspeter Eisendle, Claudio Baldassari, Oswald Ceva report their testimonies, and the Riegler brothers, for the occasion, climb the wall for the umpteenth time, accompanied in their path by cameras fixed to a helicopter.

Der Zinnemann is a documentary about rock climbing that takes place in Tre Cime Di Lavaredo. It was directed by Markus Frings in 2014 and produced by Media Art. It features Christoph Hainz.
