Professional ski mountaineer Kit DesLauriers made history when she became the first person to ski from the summit of the highest peak on each of the seven continents. With footage from the actual ski descents and interviews with Kit and her elite teammates: Damian Benegas, Wally Berg, Jimmy Chin, Rob DesLauriers, and Dave Hahn, the film documents these adventures while delving into Kit’s own personal journey and the relationship between her, her husband and her pet wolf. The title of the film is a reflection of her belief that one has to live according to their own nature – much like a wolf in the wild.

The show hosted and narrated by Bear Grylls features stories of the greatest Everest attempts and achievements over the years by climbers from all over the globe. Grylls speaks to climbers and support crews, Sherpas, journalist and experts. The show uses new archive footage and user-generated footage along with CGI.

On the snow-covered peaks of the Bolivian Andes seven women are undertaking an epic journey. They are the survivors and friends of survivors of domestic abuse, bound together by their experiences. Struck by rockfall, severe weather, dissension and altitude sickness, the team's climb becomes a breathtaking and triumphant visual metaphor for finding the strength to overcome life's most colossal ordeals. 'Being in the dark was hard, it reminded me of another time that was hard', Sarah says in the near complete black, only the flashlights piercing the gloom. 'After an assault by a boyfriend, I couldn't face myself, I stayed alone in the dark'. But that is why Sarah is here, to confront that shadowy memory.
