This film documents ascents on the cliffs of Kame on Foula in the Shetlands, at 1,300' one of the highest sea cliffs in the British Isles. It was an unusual expedition, in that although it featured some top climbers, it was initiated by Abigail Mann, a relatively inexperienced teenager. The film was broadcast on 24th September 1989 on BBC One, although it had been also been broadcast by the BBC earlier that year. The main climbers were Jonny Dawes, Dave Thomas, Pete Whillance, and Paul Nunn. Sid Perou was the main cameraman as well as one of the producers.Climbing locations
