Aconcagua - Na hranici tieňov
Rastislav Hatiar (2007)
Aconcagua is the highest mountain in South America. It is located in Argentina and its geographical location near the Pacific Ocean and the phenomenon called Viento Blanco (White Storm) prepares for difficult conditions for climbers, climatically comparable to 8,000 in the Himalayas. Problems are caused mainly by altitude, orientation in worsened weather and the so-called viento blanco -the dreaded freezing rotating wind that destroys everything in its path. In January 2007, an 8-member Slovak expedition travels to Argentina, the aim of which is to climb this mountain.- 2007
