The young scientist Artashes Malyan organizes an expedition to climb the inaccessible summit of Mount Kamir-Sar, in which there seems to be a rich deposit of mercury and silver. The expedition will be sabotaged by the agents of a foreign chemical corporation led by Alvarez da Cortec, who in his youth visited the peak, and knowing the existing resources, wants to avoid at all costs to be discovered by the Soviets.- 1955
