Sauvetage is a Swiss and French television series in twelve 50-minute episodes created by Pierre-Antoine Hiroz and Pascale Rocard, and broadcast from 16 June 2000 to 21 August 2002 on France 2 and TSR1. The series follows the daily life of a team of mountain rescuers and was entirely shot in and around the Chablais Valaisan region.

Sauvetage is a French series broadcast between 1999 and 2001 on France 2. She follows the interventions of Air Sauvetage members, who go to the rescue of people in danger in the mountains. The series was shot entirely in and around the Chablais Valaisan region.

In the sumptuous setting of the Mont Blanc, a family secret in the form of a perfectly conserved body has remained buried deep in the ice for 15 years. Its reappearance will spark off many emotions. Mount Blanc, the highest peak in the Alps, is 4810 m high and was climbed for the first time on August 8th, 1786. The climbers, Jacques Balmat and Michel Paccard, left in the afternoon on 7th August and returned victorious in the morning of 9th having spent two nights in the open. The film is a dramatization that reconstructs this great event with all the problems it entailed and solved thus contributing to the beginning of the modern concept of alpinism. Denis Ducroz, guide and filmmaker, plunges us into the spirit and the environment of these two men, 224 years after.
