This concerns a great Slovenian mountaineering succes on the east wall of Cerro Torre, a mountain in the southern end of Latin America. The film begins where the roads end. The movie camera takes us, through contemplative meditations in the base camp of Cerro Torre, the advance, regresses and disappointments in an extremely hard climate, to the mountain peak. This is not a victory over the mountain, but a new passage towards the peak of man's life.- 1986
