But what used to connect them - climbing, mountains, alpinism, still works today. Roger and Stefan are daring and daunting another first ascent and are winning back their 'lost friendship'. On the occasion of his 50th birthday, Robert Jasper gives himself a very particular present – an expedition for him alone. The climber and mountain guide is a minimalist. He knows how to master critical situations on the mountain in a relaxed and concentrated way. On the eastern coast of Greenland, he sets off from the village Kulusuk in a sea kayak. After 12 days of paddling and carrying heavy loads, he arrives at his basecamp on the foot of the Molar Spire. He starts to climb the almost 500-meter high rock face solo. All four episodes take a look at Alex from different vantage points and different subject areas, always connected to an analogy from physics.
