Tiefer Schnee - Abenteuer in Alaska
Max Reichel (2017)
In 2014, three of the winners of the Freeride World Tour, Nadine Wallner, Christine Hargin and Eva Walkner, made their way to this very place to ski. For ten days they wanted to camp in the Mount Saint Elias area and ski their lines in virgin snow. However while in Haines, before they could begin their trek to the camp, Nadine crashed hard in steep terrain, breaking her shinbone and fibula, thus cutting their expedition short. In this 47-minute one-off documentary, the women venture out in the Denali area on the Kalhitna Glacier, where they spend ten days attempting to finish what they started two years prior.Tiefer Schnee - Abenteuer in Alaska

One year later he found himself in the tiny village of Rakchham - far from any infrustructure and with no traces of tourism yet. Even more, it was the expected boulder paradise. After keeping this secret gem to himself for many years, Bernd takes us with him and shows us breathtaking landscapes and outstanding climbing skills - his personal Shangri La.Max Reichel, Franz Hinterbrandner

Auf Skiern am Limit
Franz Hinterbrandner (2015)
Skiing untouched mountain faces is a sport which has always been reserved for only a few chosen ones, and where the mistakes are pitiless punished. The places for this kind of skiing are on the up to 60 degree steep north faces of the Schober massif and the Dolomites. The two protagonists Thomas Gaisbacher from Tyrol and Samuel Anthamatten from Zermatt, introduce the history behind such an extreme sport and show the input behind the scenes, the preparation in summer, the training and the scouting, before the real ‘drop’ in the steep slope can take place.Franz Hinterbrandner, Max Reichel

Spielplatz der Extreme
Franz Hinterbrandner (2015)
French Provence is home to one of the most spectacular and exceptional places in Europe: the Verdon Gorge. For decades, it has been an Eldorado for extreme sports enthusiasts who pursue their passion on the steep walls, the wild river and the airy heights. Stefan Glowacz and Christian Schlesener, two professional alpinists from Bavaria, have been trying their luck on one of the most difficult multi-rope routes in the gorge for over ten years and have failed countless times, yet they keep coming back. Like the kayakers, slackliners and paragliders. All athletes are united by a passion for adventure. But the shared moments and the experience of nature will also shape their memories of the gorge.Franz Hinterbrandner, Max Reichel

Die Bayerische Direttissima
Max Reichel (2013)
Together with their East Tyrolean friend Mario Walder, Alexander and Thomas Huber set out once again, this time with one special goal in mind: to free-climb the almost 700-metre-high Mount Asgard on Baffin Island. Their ambitious plan was to conquer the massive granite monolith in one team free ascent – a task no one had successfully accomplished before. With good reason, as the physical and psychological challenges are tremendous. It’s a mission that calls for more than just a good team. It calls for three individuals to become one, fiercely determined to give it all they got…Max Reichel, Franz Hinterbrandner

Making-of 'Am Limit' - The point of no return
Pepe Danquart (2007)
Making-of of the documentary 'Am Limit’, where the Huber brothers, Alex and Thomas, try to beat the speed record of the ‘Nose’, a 1.000 meters high climbing route in the granite wall of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. The filming crew, composed of expert mountaineers, had to spend some days shooting betwenn eight and twelve hours on the wall, exposed to the sun and the elements. Every camera position was calculated by Pepe Danquart, the film director, anticipating every climber’s move, and the team used between 3 and 4 kilometers of fixed ropes. About ten people have been constantly in the wall, and more than 30 more were standing up at the summit or below to assist.Making-of 'Am Limit' - The point of no return
