    L'Aiguille Verte

    Bertrand Delapierre (2016)

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the first ascent of the Aiguille Verte, the Compagnie des Guides de Chamonix is making a film that traces the main dates of this summit that is so dear to it. 'La Verte' has been the object of desire of many mountaineers for a century and a half. Big names marched in search of this 4122-metre peak: Edward Whymper, Michel Croz, Albert Mummery, Armand Charlet, Marco Siffredi... The Verte has strongly marked the history of mountaineering, inspiring Gaston Rébuffat who warned future contenders for this summit: 'Before the Verte one is a climber, in the Verte one becomes a mountainer'.

    La Cible Vod

    La Cible

    Marc Pavaux (1980)

The poet and writer Luc Decaunes must solve an enigma that is partly located in the Chamonix region. Accompanied by Bernard Golay on stage, he followed the various interviews of the witnesses on television screens. While the son of a great industrialist is threatened with death, strange events are happening in the Grandes Jorasses massif in Chamonix: a thug found dead in a crevasse, a seriously wounded man, crystalliers equipped with dynamite, a lonely climber with a double identity who will be murdered from a helicopter... The 'middle' does not accept the sons of good families who are involved in the crime.
