    Siguniang 1981

    Graham Zimmerman (2017)

In 1981 Jack Tackle, Jim Donini, Kim Schmitz, Jim Kanzler, and Greg Thomsen traveled to the newly opened mountains of central China to attempt the South Face of then unclimbed Mt Siguniang. Retreating from the mountain in defeat, the team engaged in outrageous hijinks that, until recently, were too embarrassing to share publicly. This film gathers the four surviving members to learn about their experiences in China in 1981 and highlight their hilarious account with animated images from the expedition.

    Wild Owyhee

    Dan Holz (2017)

In the heart of the west lives a vast, untouched and priceless gem. The Owyhee, a wild place where those who visit leave with something more than they arrived with - whether a connection to a simpler time, youthful memories reignited, or a source of hope and strength. It has been here as long as time, raw and perfect, but its uncertain future now lies in our hands. A film by Dan Holz produced for Osprey.

    Hold Fast

    Jim Aikman (2017)

While making a summit attempt to an unclimbed peak in Nepal in 2016, Conrad Anker suffered a heart attack. With his climbing partner, David Lama, able to do little more than look on, Anker self-rescued from 20,000 feet. It marked the end of his long and storied career as a high-altitude mountaineer, but not his passion to climb. In Hold Fast, Anker returns to one of his favorite big wall climbs — El Cap, in Yosemite National Park. With him is Alex Wildman, an ardent amateur climber and close friend. The good news is that Wildman is a cardiac nurse. But he has never before climbed a big wall. And he has a serious health concern of his own.
