    Karsten Scheuren (2014)

A few days before, when he and his mountain mate Sebastian Haag started the ascent, eleven climbers had been killed by an avalanche at this mountain. Barely the two escaped from the avalanche. They were the first on the scene of the accident and helped to recover the dead and injured. Two years later, Sebastian Haag is tragically killed by an avalanche at Shisha Pangma.
