Craig's reaction
Cameron Maier (2018)
In 2002, Craig DeMartino was climbing with a friend in Rocky Mountain National Park when a terrible miscommunication occurred; DeMartino fell nearly 100 feet onto the rocks below. He survived, but his injuries were devastating — ruptured lung, fractured spine, pulverized feet, among others — and the accident forever altered his life. He could have retreated into his injuries and given up on climbing. Instead, DeMartino, who had one leg amputated under the knee, got back into his harness. Today, he has climbed grades as hard as 5.13, led an all-disabled ascent of El Capitan and introduced scores of fellow disabled athletes to the joy of climbing.- 2018

3 The hard way
Paul Nicholson (2004)
The movie follows the comps from Hounds Ears in North Carolina, to the first ever comp at the then recently opened Little Rock City/Stone Fort near Chattanooga, and ends with the comp at Horse Pens 40 in Alabama. This was the layout of the original series, with LRC before HP40, but since then the LRC comp has been moved to the last comp of the series and HP40 is now in the middle. But the movie is more about the climbing than the fact that its a great documentary of the first Triple Crown.Paul Nicholson, Will Eccleston
