Zodiac
Jon Glassberg (2017)
In November 2016, Barbara 'Babsi' Zangerl and Jacopo Larcher went to battle on one of El Capitan most formidable free routes. With some of the hardest climbing in the Yosemite Valley crammed into 16-pitches, Zodiac (5.13d) had only seen two previous free ascents—until Babsi and Jacopo showed up. The route, opened by Charlie Porter in 1972, was first free climbed by Alex and Thomas Huber in October 2003, and later, by Tommy Caldwell just two months later.- 2017

Golden Line Verdon
Stefan Fritsche (2017)
The climbing route 'Golden Shower' in the Verdon Gorge was first ascended in 2012 by Stefan Glowacz. With its 150 meters and difficulties up to 8b+ it is one of the most difficult multi-pitch routes in the area. The one-day redpoint ascent of these four pitches on the extremely steep Maugué pillar is still outstanding. The two climbers and mountain guides Tobias Bitschnau and Christoph Schranz are fascinated by the distinctive and exposed line of the route. So, they decide to tackle the project. The key passages and the quite untypical rock quality for Verdon will demand everything from them.- 2017

Rise
(2019)
Jacopo Larcher's pursuit to resolve 'Tribe', possibly the world's hardest trad climb, in Cadarese, Italy. For Larcher, this route represents not only 'the most difficult thing I’ve ever climbed' but also, and above all, the end of an odyssey that began 6 years ago when he first started to delve into the trad climbing game. This venture took Larcher from the rudimentary basics of climbing with nuts and friends to cutting edge trad repeats as well as huge big wall ascents, and over the years he has rapidly transformed into one of the most versatile climbers in the world. Tribe, with no fixed gear and climbed while placing all pro on lead, stands as testament to Larcher’s vision, ability and evolution as a climber.
