    Claire MacLeod (2008)

A sobering film by Claire MacLeod of her husband Dave climbing one of the world's hardest trad routes. Dave’s idea of the perfect climb is one that has beautiful movement on rock, set on the north face of Ben Nevis in stunning scenery. If he could become the first climber to climb "Echo Wall", it would be possibly the hardest and most dangerous rock climb in the world. The film takes us on Dave's journey of preparation for this huge challenge and explores his personal justification for the enormous risk to his life and the potential effects on his wife Claire, who films his eventual climb of the route, where the slightest slip of a hand or foot would mean death.
