Sixth and last episode of the second season of the historical series on the Czech Himalayan expeditions 'Ceske himalajske dobrodruzstvi II'. The second season goes beyond the 14 eight-thousanders and is dedicated to the most significant achievements of Czech climbers in the Himalayas. This last episode focuses not on big climbing achievements, but on the alpine trekking and to expeditions to the remote parts of the Himalayan ridge, that are gradually gaining popularity.

This first episode introduces the series makes a review of the most important Czech Himalayan expeditions from the pioneers to the present time.

Seventh episode of the historical series on the Czech Himalayan expeditions 'Ceske himalajske dobrodruzstvi'. The episode focuses on two achievements: The 1984 ascent to the south face of Lhotse Shar, and the 1991 first Czech Everest ascent, by Leopold Sulovsky. The first feat is considered as one of the most important achievements in the Himalayas in the 80s. The expedition, led by Ivan Galfy, solved what Messner qualified as 'the problem of the year 2000'. Czechs Stejskal and Rakoncaj, and a Slovaks Božík and Demján made the first ascent.

Sixth episode of the historical series on the Czech Himalayan expeditions 'Ceske himalajske dobrodruzstvi'. In May 1983, a large Italian expedition to K2 was planned. Josef Rakoncaj, with Austrian Kurt Diemberger and Julie Tullis had the task of filming the expedition. Who would have thought that the Czech climber would take the camera to the top of the mountain? In 1986, Rakoncaj ascended again K2, just two weeks later, he climbed Broad Peak, both without oxygen, becoming the first in making the doublet.

Fifth episode of the historical series on the Czech Himalayan expeditions 'Ceske himalajske dobrodruzstvi'. The episode focuses on two mountains: Makalu and Kangchenjunga. Karel Schubert made the first Czech ascent to an eight-thousander, Makalu. Schubert died in the descent. Seventeen years later Leopold Sulovsky made an ascent in alpine style, and in 1998, the ascent by Josef Šimůnek and Soňa Vomáčková was the first woman ascent without the use of supplementary oxygen. In 1981, Záhoransky and Psotka made the first Czech ascent to Kangchenjunga.

Third episode of the historical series on the Czech Himalayan expeditions 'Ceske himalajske dobrodruzstvi'. The episode focuses on two legendary mountains: Dhaulagiri and Nanga Parbat. In 1984 Three members of a Czechoslovakian expedition (Jan Simon, Karel Jakes, Jaromir Stejskal) climb the west face to the summit, a 4,000 meters high wall, one of the highest in the world. Simon died during the descent. In 1992, Josef Rakoncaj and Josef Nežerka made the first Czech ascent to Nanga Parbat.

First episode of the historical series on the Czech Himalayan expeditions 'Ceske himalajske dobrodruzstvi'. The episode focuses on two mountains: Annapurna and Manaslu and in the figure of Josef Rakoncaj, one of the most highlighted Czech Himalayan mountaineers. In 1988 Josef Nežerka and Jindřich Martiš made the first Czech ascent to Annapurna. In 1989 Rakincaj, together with Italian Soro Dorotheum, made a fast ascent to Manaslu, in extreme conditions and in just twenty-one hours.
