A record of the exploration of Karakoram Range often referred to as the Third Pole by an expedition of Indian Army led by Narendra Kumar in 1981. This expedition was able to climb three peaks higher in the unknown regions of the Black Mountains. The peaks were Saltoro Kangri I (25,400 feet), Sia Kangri I (24,350 feet) and Teram Kangri II (24,631 feet).- 1983
