In 1993, the year this documentary was recorded, there were already more than five hundred tons of rubbish in the highest mountain in the world, Everest. The documentary follows the Catalan expedition 'Gas Natural - Everest' 93 ', which had another goal besides getting to the top: clean up the mountain of waste. The expedition collects and removes from the mountain more than twenty tons of waste (oxygen bottles, bags, masks, tents ...) that had been abandoned over the years for previous expeditions. The same expedition is the object of another one-hour documentary: Everest 93, a summit for ecology.
