    Parasol Peak Vod

    Parasol Peak

    Johannes Aitzetmüller (2018)

Together with a film and audio-crew, seven musicians set off on a mountain tour across the Tyrolean Alps. In different places and at different altitudes, they perform eight musical pieces, creating an artistic synthesis of mountain and music film. In the heart of the Alps, they play on their purely acoustic instruments and the compositions by Manuel Delago develop in harmony with nature, far removed from the conventional approach to music.

    No man's land Vod

    No man's land

    Matthias Mayr (2018)

Due to the extreme cold, the glaciated terrain and the desert climate, freeskiing in Antarctica seemed to be impossible. But the two freeskiers and adventurers Matthias Haunholder and Matthias Mayr don ́t care if regions are ment to be too remote or harsh for skiing. They are getting even more attracted by so called hard conditions. Together with cinematographer Johannes Aitzetmüller they set over for an unsupported expedition into the mainland of Antarctica to find beautiful mountains for skiing. The 3 men team, each hauling a 90kg sled, covered a distance of more than 150km by hiking and using kites. What they found, was much better than expected. The 'holy grale' of freeriding.

    The white maze

    Matthias Mayr (2016)

After a whole year of planning, scouting and guesswork, Freeskiers and adventurers Matthias 'Hauni' Haunholder and Matthias Mayr accomplished their personal mission impossible. They skied the 'Gora Pobeda', highest Peak of Eastern Siberia, which had never been attempted before. Gora Pobeda' is known to be a very difficult mountain to ascend, partly because it´s a steep, rocky and icy peak but also because it is so hard to reach. The next village with road access is more than 350 km away. The next helicopter and hospital is 1300 km away in Yakutsk. Beside that it is one of the coldest regions in the world with temperatures dropping below minus 60˚C. The time window to ascend and descend the mountain is very small due to the extreme continental climate.
