This is the bittersweet chronicle of an extraordinary challenge experienced by two people, far away from each other but united by a single purpose, Jean Christophe Lafaille and his wife Katia. With images recorded by Lafaille himself, the film follows the last hours of the climber's life in his last and tragic adventure. Lafaille disappeared on January 27, 2006.
