In pursuit of fear is a documentary about alpinism that takes place in Mont Blanc Massif and Kangchenjunga. It was directed by Amanda Rees in 2003 and produced by Principal Films. It is a part of the series Mountains and man (2/3). It features Doug Scott, Catherine Destivelle, Laurence Gouault, Steve Haston, Brian Okonek, Caradoc Jones and others.

For the first time ever, an all-Sherpa expediition is launched on the sacred peak of Sagarmatha, Mount Everest. At the same time, Expedition earth's own team of international climbers makes an aplinist attempt on Ama Dablam, a peak in the Everest region of Nepal.
