    Allein

    Franz Walter (2019)

On the occasion of his 50th birthday, Robert Jasper gives himself a very particular present – an expedition for him alone. The climber and mountain guide is a minimalist. He knows how to master critical situations on the mountain in a relaxed and concentrated way. On the eastern coast of Greenland, he sets off from the village Kulusuk in a sea kayak. After 12 days of paddling and carrying heavy loads, he arrives at his basecamp on the foot of the Molar Spire. He starts to climb the almost 500-meter high rock face solo. In addition to the climbing difficulties and the enormous strain, he also has to struggle with the heavy burden of extreme solitude.
