In the tour along the borders of Alto Adige, over 1.100 km in 41 days, Reinhold Messner and Hans Kammerlander, return to their native mountains and journey through the history, culture, roots and especially the prospect of this land with a hundred faces.They alternate adventure-Punta di Lago Bianco, Palla Bianca, Tribulaun with its 3097 metres- with the warmth of the mountain refuges waiting to welcome the two alpinists at the end of each leg. The journey is an excuse to talk about burning issues, such as the conservation of the environment, ethnic restrictions and the risk the province runs of shutting out a reality which is rapidly developing.
