    In the late 20th century, Slovak Himalaya mountaineering experienced world successes, but also failures. Through the eyes of one generation of climbers, Vábenie výšok shows the evolution of Slovak Himalaya mountaineering from the very first expeditions to the brave attempts on the highest mountain in the world. The documentary presented in two 53 minutes episodes and this shortened version in a single episode. The first episode focuses on the figure of Ivan Gálfy. The second is about the generation of Slovak climbers who climbed the south wall of Lhotse in 1984 and Everest in 1988.
