Climbing frozen waterfalls is always a race against the sun, and what was supposed to be a practise climb turns into a near tragedy as the sun begins to melt the ice into a mortal trap. Endless emotions with Giorgio Passino and Stefano De Benedetti in the extreme ski descent of the Aiguille Blanche, from the East, in the Mont Blanc Massif. Off the field, the reflections, the motivations and the confessions of the two, sincere and moving. At the same time, the cameras follow the slow transformation of the mountain face over the seasons until an umpteenth snowfall makes conditions right. Having reached the peak at Aiguille Blanche, one of two is given honour and risk of the first descent on the snow and ice slopes.- 1985
