Ueli Steck is known as one of the best solo climbers in the world, always ready to take a well calculated risk. This film portrays the 34-year old Swiss on the quest of his personal limit, when he tries to push the limits of modern alpinism. Spectacular images show him on his speed ascents on the Eiger, the Matterhorn and Grandes Jorasses. In addition, Steck meets the American Alex Honnold, in order to try a speed climb on the famous Nose in the Yosemite. Steck dreams of implementing his speed climbing skills on the huge 8000 m wall, after having failed on the Annapurna before.- 2011
