Everest - Najťažšia cesta
Pavol Barabáš (2020)
When Chris Bonington and his team set out in 1975 to climb the South West face of Everest they were attempting the ultimate challenge of mountaineering - to conquer the steepest and highest face in the world. Many international expeditions had tried to climb it in previous years. Bonington called the route leading through the southwest face - the Hard Way and said that it was impossible to climb in alpine style, which means without supplementary oxygen, fixed ropes, and Sherpas. His reflection on the Hard Way became a challenge for the young mountaineering generation. The climbers from Slovakia set the Hard Way as their goal. Is it really impossible to climb it in Alpine style?- 2020

Za hranicami tmy
Pavol Barabáš (1999)
Everyone has a dream, we all have dreams. But do we manage to make them come true? To what extent can our dreams be fulfilled? We long to achieve something in life. That is equally true for the 500 million disabled people on our planet. A man is climbing along an exposed rocky ridge. He is blind. He is carefully feeling his way with his hands and a mountain guide is advising him where to put his feet. This day he will make one of his cherished dreams come true. To reach the top of Gerlach peak. He lost his sight when he was young. But he did not turn his back on life.- 1999

Žiť pre vášeň
Pavol Barabáš (2014)
If mountains have a soul, then it is majestic. It was 90 years ago when a young student proved what was then unimaginable. Wieslaw Stanislawski climbed new and difficult routes of the biggest walls in the Slovak Tatras. With only hemp rope around his waist, he climbed with unbelievable passion and desire. In the winter conditions of Tatra walls, two friends ventured out to follow in his footsteps. They connect his routes, and mountains connect their thoughts. In the breaking avalanches, in the sun's rays, they find Stanislawski's message: if one does something from the bottom of his heart, he does it best.- 2014
