Everest - Un reto sobrehumano
Aitor Bárez (2017)
After his successful winter ascent to Nanga Parbat in 2016 with Simone Moro and Ali Sadpara, the following year, Alex Txikon travels to the Himalayas to try the first winter ascent to Everest without artificial oxygen. No one has ever done it without artificial oxygen before. The team reaches Camp 4 at South Col (7950m), but, unable to set up a tent due to strong winds, were forced back to Camp 3, where they tried to wait for the storm to subside. Unfortunately, it never did, forcing them to retreat. Up to date, Everest has not been climbed at all in full winter since the first winter ascent by Polish mountaineers Cichy and Wielicki in 1980, and is still yet to see a winter ascent without bottled oxygen.- 2017

Abenteuer am Abgrund
Inka Blumensaat (2018)
Climbing and mountaineering were not promoted by the West Germany regime at the time - not least because the often unadapted and adventurous athletes were not suited to the ideal of 'ambassadors in tracksuits'. In the Elbsandsteingebirge near Dresden the scene meets, the rocks are ideal for climbing. But anyone who has climbed the most difficult walls here dreams of new goals. And some make their dreams come true despite all the restrictions in the country. Bernd Arnold was a celebrity in the climbing scene in the DDR era, he even became known beyond the borders of the socialist state. He is responsible for hundreds of first ascents. In the 1970s and 1980s he broke the scale of difficulty and also impressed mountaineering legend Reinhold Messner.- 2018
