Gorropu
Ivan Frattina (2019)
A portrait of Aleksandra Taistra, passionate rock climber with a unique focus and determination, who realized her multi-season project in Sardinia, Hotel Supramonte, in October 2019. A project of this sort requires a commitment level that most would call unattainable and Aleksandra battled tough weather conditions and self-doubt, often without a regular climbing partner, on her journey to complete the route. The film describes both the talents of Aleksandra and the emotional and mental side that underly a project of such ambition.Ivan Frattina, Francesco Pierini, Filippo Maragno

Linea di eleganza
Elio Orlandi (2005)
Since the beginning we faced this beautiful ascent with humility and full respect, without many expectations and with the only purpose of enjoying ourselves by climbing as high as possible. No spirit of conquest and therefore no record to break … because up there, there is actually nothing to conquer … no heroic deeds and no challenge or fight to undertake with 'attacks, retreats, victories or defeats', and the total absence of commercial pressure, media, sponsors and contract or media influences. Just a healthy mountaineering discovery, focused more on the recovery of human relationships than on achieving success at all costs, an experience lived without uproar and only with our own means, in no hurry, with no records to break or ascents that leave your fellows behind. I colori delle emozioni
Elio Orlandi (2010)
This film tells the story of a quest for extreme emotions on a climb through a sea of granite on an enormous, unknown face of the Paine in Patagonia; here an unpredictable and often hostile environment, combined with some spellbinding natural scenery, proves how fragile we really are. The mountain is portrayed not as a land to master, but as an opportunity to share dreams with one’s closest friends. Each day, it teaches us to interpret the voice of the wind, tune in to the Earth’s energy, understand the moods of its climate and accept its inevitable surprises, such as a bizarre storm halfway up the face.- 2010
