In August 2015, Siebe Vanhee and Sean Villanueva took off on an adventure in the Tsaranoro massif in southern Madagascar, Africa. They saw an important unclimbed line at Tsaranoro Atsimo Armado with a drill, skyhooks and thirst for exploration we boarded the ground face up. This was very different from other first ascents they had made, as they usually do not bring an electric drill, and very rarely a bolt is placed. However, these walls are so white and deprived of cracks and other features to place natural protections. Going ground into this unknown vertical ocean of granite was very exciting and gave them a real challenge. This video shows their adventure.Climbing locations
