The Salto Ángel, falling from the summit of an extraordinary sandstone highland standing out in the Amazon rain forest, reaches the ground after a 1,000-meter drop: it is the highest waterfall in the world. An international team, made up of some of the best climbers in the world, attempts this ascent. After a long journey in their canoes along the jungle river, their project takes them to live on the wall for a fortnight, in very bad and dangerous conditions. Heavy floods, constant humidity, food rationing, technical difficulties as well as the hardest mental and physical effort seem to place the ascent beyond their possibilities.Climbing locations

June 2008, Arnaud Petit, Stéphanie Bodet, Sylvain Millet and Laurent Triay take off to Madagascar. One goal in mind: free climb the 'Tough Enough' 10 pitches, a 400 meters high route through the magic Tsaranoro valley colored granit. With extreme difficulties from 7C to 8c (5 pitches between 8b and 8c!) and an ultimate face climbing style, 'Tough Enough' could be the hardest multi pitch route in the world. It is considered by the climbing community as a major challenge of our time and next generations. The film shows this nice successful adventure, discovering Madagascar 'the red', the beauty of its landscapes and richness of its habitants.Climbing locations
