Der leise und der laute Weg - Schiestl - Bubendorfer

Der leise und der laute Weg - Schiestl - Bubendorfer

    Manfred Gabrielli (1995)

This documentary takes us back to the youth of two exceptional Austrian alpinists. Both accomplished great achievements, but personally they were very opposite characters: the noisy path of Thomas Bubendorfer from Salzburg, born in 1962, led not only to the mountain, but above all to the columns of society in the media; the quiet path of the Tyrolean elementary school teacher Reinhard Schiestl from Huben in the Ötztal, born in 1957, however, through crevasses in the glaciers.
