Cerro Kishtwar - An Ice Cold Story

    Julian Zanker (2018)

The Kashmir mountains were barred to foreign alpinists for several years. The ban was lifted early in 2010 and Stephan Siegrist, Denis Burdet, and David Lama made the first expedition into the region the following year to climb Cerro Kishtwar alpine style. They reached the summit via the north-west side. Siegrist had spotted a new line on the face, however, and returned in 2017 with Huber and Zanker, but the difficulties were harder than expected and they encountered difficult technical climbing.

    100 Jahre Huberbuam

    Werner Bertolan (2017)

Over three decades, the Huber Boys have become an actual brand, not only in the outdoor community, but also as climbers, mountaineers and as brothers. Since their youngest days, Thomas and Alexander have been embodying a seemingly perfect rope team. It does not surprise that between such different characters with their respective egos, sparks can fly. They live through highs and lows, falls and triumphs. In 2017 the Huber Boys together turned 100 years old. A good moment for an interim balance.

Tiefer Schnee - Abenteuer in Alaska

Tiefer Schnee - Abenteuer in Alaska

    Max Reichel (2017)

In 2014, three of the winners of the Freeride World Tour, Nadine Wallner, Christine Hargin and Eva Walkner, made their way to this very place to ski. For ten days they wanted to camp in the Mount Saint Elias area and ski their lines in virgin snow. However while in Haines, before they could begin their trek to the camp, Nadine crashed hard in steep terrain, breaking her shinbone and fibula, thus cutting their expedition short. In this 47-minute one-off documentary, the women venture out in the Denali area on the Kalhitna Glacier, where they spend ten days attempting to finish what they started two years prior.

Hoch-Tirol - Auf Skiern durch ein Paradies

Hoch-Tirol - Auf Skiern durch ein Paradies

    Werner Bertolan (2016)

Steve House is one of the most prominent Alpinists of the last two decades. Light & fast has been his motto: climbing faster, with less gear and always pushing the limits—until reality hit him hard at Mount Temple. One mistake that almost ended his life. The near-death experience was reason enough for him to redefine his way of living and climbing. This documentary takes us on a very private and personal ski tour with Steve House through the Austrian Alps. Along the way, Steve shows his new 'grown up' self and leaves the old risk taker behind.

    Auf Skiern am Limit

    Auf Skiern am Limit

    Franz Hinterbrandner (2015)

Skiing untouched mountain faces is a sport which has always been reserved for only a few chosen ones, and where the mistakes are pitiless punished. The places for this kind of skiing are on the up to 60 degree steep north faces of the Schober massif and the Dolomites. The two protagonists Thomas Gaisbacher from Tyrol and Samuel Anthamatten from Zermatt, introduce the history behind such an extreme sport and show the input behind the scenes, the preparation in summer, the training and the scouting, before the real ‘drop’ in the steep slope can take place.

Together with their East Tyrolean friend Mario Walder, Alexander and Thomas Huber set out once again, this time with one special goal in mind: to free-climb the almost 700-metre-high Mount Asgard on Baffin Island. Their ambitious plan was to conquer the massive granite monolith in one team free ascent – a task no one had successfully accomplished before. With good reason, as the physical and psychological challenges are tremendous. It’s a mission that calls for more than just a good team. It calls for three individuals to become one, fiercely determined to give it all they got…
